Today, I had the opportunity to attend a fascinating class as part of the value-added course offered by the Social Science department.
The class was conducted by Sandra Rajeevan, who presented an engaging session about the TajMahal. From the moment the class began, it was clear that this would be an enriching experience. Sandra shared a wealth of information about the Taj Mahal's historical background, captivating us with stories about its construction and significance.
One of the highlights of the session was learning about the builder of this magnificent structure, Shah Jahan, and the love story that inspired its creation. Sandra emphasized the symmetrical characteristics of the Taj Mahal, explaining how its architectural design reflects balance and harmony.
Additionally, we explored various related facts, such as the materials used in its construction and the cultural importance of the monument. The session not only deepened our understanding of the Taj Mahal as an architectural marvel but also as a symbol of love and artistry.
Overall, today's class was a wonderful blend of history, culture, and architecture. It reinforced the value of interdisciplinary learning and sparked a curiosity to explore more about such iconic structures in our future studies. I’m looking forward to more enlightening sessions in this course!
