Today, the English Association kicked off an exciting program aimed at helping students improve their English language skills, particularly in preparation for competitive examinations. Language efficiency plays a crucial role in the teaching-learning process, and effective communication skills empower us to create innovative teaching strategies.
The focus of today’s session was "Substitution by a Single Word," led by Radhika from the English department. From the moment the class began, it was clear that this would be a valuable learning experience. Radhika’s engaging teaching style made the session both informative and enjoyable.
Learning about substitution is particularly important, as it enhances our vocabulary and comprehension skills—essential elements for succeeding in any competitive examination where English is a compulsory subject. I found the content incredibly useful, as it directly contributes to my ability to express ideas succinctly and effectively.
After the instructional part of the session, we participated in a questioning segment designed to assess our memory retention and learning capacity. This interactive component allowed us to apply what we had learned and reinforced the concepts discussed during the class.
Overall, today's session was a significant step towards enhancing our English proficiency, and I’m excited to see how the program will unfold in the coming weeks. Gaining skills in English will undoubtedly empower us in our future endeavors!
