On June 26, 2023, the Mathematics Association 'HESTIA' organized a poignant musical drama in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse. The aim of the program was to raise awareness among students about the dangers of drug use and the profound impact it can have on individuals and their relationships.

The musical drama vividly depicted the consequences of drug addiction, illustrating how it can destroy a person's body, mind, and spirit. Through engaging performances, we highlighted the struggles faced by individuals battling addiction and the ripple effect it has on their families and friends.

Despite having a short time to prepare, our team approached the performance with a mix of excitement and apprehension. We all had concerns about delivering our roles effectively, but as we rehearsed and collaborated, our confidence grew. When the day of the performance arrived, we were determined to make an impact, and the energy in the auditorium was palpable.

To our delight, our hard work paid off! The performance was well-received, and the audience responded with enthusiasm and appreciation. We were particularly honored when our principal, Dr. Joju John, took the time to congratulate us personally for our efforts. His encouragement was a testament to the importance of the message we conveyed through our drama.

The musical drama succeeded in creating a significant impact, leaving the audience with a deeper understanding of the issues surrounding drug abuse. It was rewarding to see that our efforts had raised awareness and sparked important conversations among our peers. This experience not only reinforced the power of the performing arts as a tool for social change but also strengthened our bond as a team.
